The PPCCS envisions a future where all critically ill children in Pakistan receive timely, high-quality care, supported by well-trained healthcare professionals and cutting-edge research.

Mission statement for PPCCS:

The mission of the Pakistan Pediatric Critical Care Society (PPCCS) is multifaceted, aiming to:

  • To Improve the care of critically ill children by promoting high standards in clinical practice.
  • To Promote awareness among healthcare professionals and the general public about the importance of early and timely management of acute and critically ill children to reduce mortality and morbidity.
  • To Foster a culture of research and innovation within pediatric critical care to advance the understanding and treatment of critical illness in children.
  • To Provide essential resources such as medicines, books, and educational materials related to pediatric critical care.
  • To Engage with policymakers, healthcare institutions, and other stakeholders to advocate for the needs of critically ill children and the professionals who care for them.
  • To organize mass campaigns, seminars, and events to engage the community, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders in the mission of improving pediatric critical care.
  • Establish and nurture national and international collaborations to share experiences, research findings, and clinical practices.
  • To operate on a non-political, non-commercial, and non-religious basis, focusing solely on the charitable enhancement of pediatric critical care.
